Mechanics for Non-Toreador Playing Within Clan Toreador Definition: a non-Toreador playing within Clan Toreador is defined as either a Caitiff adopted Toreador or a Toreador Clan Infiltrator The Office of the Toreador Storytelling Staff recommends that players of non-Toreador playing within Clan Toreador to pick up one or all of the following abilites:
*NS - Non-standard The Moderator of the Toreador List in coordination with the Office of the Toreador Storytelling Staff on a case by case basis whether or not a non-Toreador playing within Clan Toreador will be admitted to the Toreador Lists. This will usually involve interviewing the player and his CST. The Office of the Toreador Storytelling Staff requires that any player of a non-Toreador playing within Clan Toreador to notify the SST staff of that fact when applying for admittance on to any Toreador List.
Toreador E-Mail List IC Premise The IC Premise of the Toreador List is an email list run off of a server, maintained by minions of the Toreador Justicar. Most characters with Guild standing, a Toreador Lineage, a City Officer Position, or who has another known Toreador to vouch for them canexpect to be admitted to this forum. No special abilities are required to send email to this list, once your character has been admitted into the forum. If your character desires to hack in to the Toreador list, please send an email to the Office of the Toreador Storytelling Staff at owner-toreador@dppw.tamu.edu with a detailed description of how your character came to find the server, what your character is going to do to hack in, and the related abilities your character has to accomplish this task, copied to your CST. From there, the proper tests and role play will begin. Lineage, Coterie, and Guilds lists have separate and unique IC Premises. If your character desires infiltration into one of those, simply contact the Office of the Toreador Storytelling Staff by emailing owner-toreador@dppw.tamu.edu. From there, the staff will detail to you what steps your character will need to take, run the appropriate tests and role play. OOCly subscribing to a Toreador List You can subscribe your Toreador character to the Toreador list by sending the following information:
To: majordomo@dppw.tamu.edu Majordomo will send you an authorization code that you can return back to Majordomo [follow the directions in the reply email Majordomo sends back]. This authorization is only to verify that you wanted to be subscribed to the Toreador list. Then, Majordomo sends your list request to the list moderator who will then approve you. Upon approval, please send an email to the list moderator detailing the following:
To: owner-toreador@dppw.tamu.edu The Office of the Toreador Specialist Storyteller will then send you an email to get you started, if you chose to have a PC Lineage and/or background in the Guilds. There are many other Toreador Lists in use at this time as well. These are either for the specific guilds or for specific Toreador families and coteries. Your character will not be subbed to one of these lists if your character is not a part of that guild, lineage, or coterie. To subscribe to one of the Guilds lists, go to the following URL: Register your email address with Onelist by following the instructions provided there, and then do a search for the Guild by the Guild's name, such as "Aphrodite" for Guild Aphrodite. Send in your list request. Upon verification that the Office of the Toreador Specialist Storyteller has received your Toreador Registry Email, you will be subscribed to that list. If a PC lineage that your character has joined has an email list, you will be advised of that by either the Office of Toreador SST, or by players of that lineage. There is also a chat room on IRC specifically set up for Clan Toreador. Like the #Camarilla room, it is located on Dalnet servers. Contact the Office of the Toreador Storytelling Staff for more details by emailing owner-toreador@dppw.tamu.edu.
Toreador Antitribu This addition to the Appendix will soon be added. For now, please refer all questions to your CST. |
